A ministerial element was injured by the explosion of a grenade inside a 

house where human remains were located minutes before 

in the Emiliano Zapata Communal neighborhood.

On the afternoon of this Thursday, the 911 emergency report 

was made about shots on José Zapata street where apparently 

armed individuals had come to blast the facade of a home, 

some versions pointed out that several men ran from it.

Municipal elements arrived at the place and found the doors 

of the house open and damage from gunshots, so they entered 

and found several bags with what appeared to be human remains, 

the area was secured to give way to expert work.

It was when the FGE Criminal Investigation Agents were searching 

the scene that an explosive device detonated inside and 

caused injuries to one of the agents who was near the door.

The ministerial agent was transferred aboard an official unit to 

receive medical attention and was reported delicate but stable.

Meanwhile, a large joint operation was being carried out in the 

area to find the people reported by locals who ran away from inside the home, 

but the search had no positive results.

The protection of the area was extended several meters around to 

prevent curious onlookers from getting hurt while they concluded 

with the complete search of the house in search of more objects that will represent a risk.

As for the number and identities of the victims, 

these have not yet been determined because the remains were dismembered.

During the next few hours, the FGE will release more information about 

the investigation of this event that occurred in the municipality.
