     There are multiple types of hanging death.  What she did in this video is either a short-drop.  A drop of just a few inches.  Or a suspension hanging where the person is slowly lifted by the rope.  Or slowly lowered onto the rope.  There are a few outcomes depending on the rope position and configuration.  One is a slow painful strangulation by partially constricting the airway.  That leaves a person conscious for two to three minutes.  And death might take nearly twenty to thirty minutes.  That method often doesn't put enough pounds per square inch to completely restrict your air passage so it's a slow process.  If you position the rope slightly sideways so the area with most force is on the right artery of the neck.  Depending on how much force there is.  It can take anywhere from eight seconds to over a minute before you're unconscious.  If you make a knot and place the rope in the same place so the knot is on the right artery.  You'll likely cut the blood flow to the brain completely.
