Video that circulates on social networks shows the moment in which the young Monique Araújo Neres, 18, is shot six times in a pizzeria in the city of Cáceres, on Tuesday night (7).

In the recording, the young woman is sitting next to another person as a man approaches the table. With the gun in his hands, the suspect shoots Monique six times, who falls to the ground.

According to the report, the young woman was rushed to medical care at the city hospital. The execution attempt would have been motivated by the fact that Monique is part of a rival criminal faction to the shooter.

Information from the Military Police reports that the whole situation occurred around 7:40 pm in a pizzeria in the Cohab Nova neighborhood, on Tancredo Neves street. After the attempted execution, two men were arrested.

With the call of the police, the military were informed about the characteristics of the suspects and began the search. At one point, already in the Espírito Santo neighborhood, the duo was identified on a motorcycle.

The men, one 18 and the other 33, tried to flee on a motorcycle, but lost control of the vehicle and followed the escape on foot. However, after separating, they were captured by the military.

The 18-year-old suspect, who was the one who fired the shots at the pizzeria, told the military that he is a resident of the city of Juara and went to Cáceres only to kill the young woman, pointing out that she would be from a rival faction.

The suspects are from the Red Command faction. A police report has been registered and the case will be investigated by the Civil Police of the municipality.
