Beheading of Man by Mexican Drug Cartel Los Zetas
Mexican drug cartels are notorious for slow and botched beheadings, and this one is no exception. It would appear that the beheading was carried out with a meat cleaver, and it doesn’t seem to be sharp. Consequently, the beheading takes a long time and doesn’t even end in the head being severed clean off the body.
According to the information I got, the executioners are members of the Los Zetas drug cartel, and the victim is a member of a rival gang, though I don’t know which one. If you can tell from the accompanying commentary who’s who, please clarify.
The victim is shown kneeling on the floor shirtless, as two armed, masked men stand behind him. After a brief interrogation, the beheading begins. Slashing the victim’s throat doesn’t do a whole lot, so he is thrown on the floor and the beheading resumes by having his nape chopped at with the tool. Then it is from the side, then more chopping, and so on and so forth.
